Finally, Yamato’s hybrid form makes its anime debut. The big reveal? She transforms into the Okuchi no Makami—a legendary guardian wolf. It’s cool, no doubt, and the design looks great, but I’ll be real: the scene didn’t hit as hard as it could have. The buildup was there, but the animation felt like it was holding back. I expected a “whoa” moment, but got more of a “hmm, nice.”
